The north and south aisles in the nave of St Andrew's are decorated with mural paintings depicting the Stations of the Cross by the well-known Victorian designer Nathaniel H.J.Westlake of the firm of Lavers, Barraud & Westlake. The paintings were carried out over a number of years before the Great War. It is unusual to find all fourteen Stations depicted in an Anglican church at this period.
